Back in 1999 Kindergarten was created by a group of Manchester students who thought they could better the paltry clubbing offerings in the city at the time. One of those original visionaries was Martin McNulty, and over half a decade on, he's still going strong as the musical navigator of the Kindergarten clubbing machine.

From The Attic to Axis, Manchester to Boston, wherever Kindergarten has gone Martin has been there to lay down the soundtrack. Loved by the loyal regulars and curious newcomers alike, Martin's success as Kindergarten resident can be put down to him playing the music that he adores. Whether it be techno, house or any other sort of electronic madness, Martin's reputation has risen to a place where he has held residencies from Sankey's Soap to The Attic, and has played just about every club in between.

The driving force behind Kindergarten's monthly musical journeys, Martin has played alongside the likes of Carl Craig, Josh Wink, Dave Clarke and DJ Rolando in Manchester alone, and has graced turntables from Arc in New York to Decadance in Belgium.

His records may have changed over the years , but he's still upholding the original Kindergarten ethos - good music, good atmosphere, good time.
